Lauren Hughen
Lauren was a former member of the Golddusters Dance Team at Sandra Day O’Connor high school in 2000. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and received her teaching certificate in 2007.
After moving back to San Antonio , she taught Pre-K for one year and 2nd grade for 3 years. In 2010, she started the first elementary level dance team for her school, which was a non-competitive dance team ranging in ages from 8-12. She choreographed all of the routines performed at the school/community events. The dance team is now a permanent extra curricular activity offered at that school!
Lauren is currently working on her Master of Arts degree in Counseling and looks forward everyday to teaching dance at Chrissy’s!
